76-656. Planning Commission.


(a) 
Performance of duties. The township planning commission, as established under Act No. 168 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1959 (MCL 125.321 et seq., MSA 5.2963(101) et seq.), as amended, shall perform all of the duties of such commission in accordance with the law in such case made and provided, relating to amendments of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived, and such other duties as are established in this chapter.
(b) 
Surveys, plans. In cases where the planning commission is required to recommend or approve certain use of premises under the provisions of this chapter, the applicant shall furnish such surveys, plans or other information as may be reasonably required by the planning commission for the proper consideration of the matter.
(c) 
Review or hearing. The planning commission shall investigate the circumstances of each case and shall notify affected parties of the time and place of any review or hearing which may be held relative to such case, as required under its rules of procedure.
